Trafalgar Law

Trafalgar Law. This guy has captured my attention. I list him as the top two coolest characters (after Portgaz D. Ace) in One Piece. Originally he is a pirate. He has a pirate group called the Heart Pirate. However, with nobody even knows what his real attention is, he works for the Navy as one of the seven warlords (Seven Warlords is Sichibukai in Japanese).

He is a devil fruit eater. The devil fruit that he ate is Op Op fruit which makes him able to slice people in a dimension room he creates. He also has a special ability to teleport from one place to another so easily after eating this devil fruit. He's famously known as the Surgeon of Death and also known as the Worst Pirate Generation alongside with several other pirates, including Luffy. Aside from the fact that he is a pirate, a member of Sichibukai and a devil fruit eater, Law is actually a doctor. He is the one who cures Luffy's severe wounds after the war with the Navy. 

One thing that I like from Trafalgar Law is he has unpredictable and interesting characteristics. Nobody can understand what he's thinking, what kind of person he really is whether he is an evil person or a good one. Sometimes he's so cold, ill- natured and doesn't seem to care about others, in other times he looks like he's a good person. I myself feel that he's actually a good character, but who knows right, everything depends on Oda sensei as the mangaka. but in short, Trafalgar Law is the type of character (and guy) that I usually fall for. ha ha. I have a weird taste, don't I?

Trafalgar Law and Luffy make an alliance to take down one of the Four Emperors who rule the New World. They meet in Punk Hazard where Law is on the search of SAD, the main material to create man- made devil fruits. Their alliance's plan is simply to kidnap the scientist who creates the SAD, destroys the factory and also the boss who sells the devil fruits, DonQuixote Doflamingo, another member of Sichibukai who is also an underground broker of the man- made devil fruits. Doflamingo sells the man- made devil fruits to big time pirates and his biggest customer is one of the Four Emperors, called Kaido the Beast, the one that Law and also Luffy plan to take down. 

Since I take a liking of Trafalgar Law (I kinda like him as much as I like Ace, Gaara, Neji), I spent few hours to draw him and it turned out pretty well (I guess). He He. By the way, in the original picture, Law's fingers are completely drawn but unfortunately, the sketch size is too big and doesn't really fit with the blog post column. If I use medium size image, it's too small and doesn't look good so I guess I have no other choice but to let the thumb looks like it's cropped. L
